Tomorrow is May 22 and for most of the World
Tomorrow is May 22 and for most of the World of Warcraft Classic players this means that it’s time for the first batch of stress tests for the game.
As a reminder for those players wow classic gold Blizzard once again made the rounds on their community forums, announcing what players can expect for the coming stress test. Bornakk, the community manager, stated that during the first stress test on May 22, the running closed beta test realm will be made unavailable. Players who are in the closed beta will only be able to login to the specified stress test during the allotted time, which is from 7:00 p.m. EDT to 9:00 p.m. EDT. Beta testers will be able to access the special realm using their existing World of Warcraft Classic installation.
If you’re currently waiting on beta access, there’s some good news in store for you as well. Apparently, seeing as Blizzard wants to really push the limits of the upcoming stress test, they will be adding a significant number of players coming from the pool of people who have not got into the beta yet. If you’re one of these people, be sure to keep checking your email or the Battle.net app to know if you made it into the stress test.
The stress test and beta test use the same client, so in order to differentiate between them, the Battle.net app will change the name of the current beta test for World of Warcraft Classic to “Beta & Stress Test: WoW Classic.” Bornakk also added that “If you’ve been selected to participate in the stress test, you’ll see this option appear in the Region/Account drop down menu so you can download and install the WoW Classic client in advance, but you’ll only be able to see the stress test realm when it becomes available.”
