The first 2022 update for RuneScape
It's been an exciting week for RuneScape, with Het's Oasis Restoration coming to an end, rewards coming soon, and Jagex releasing tons of quality-of-life updates.
The change that came to RuneScape with Het's Oasis is now complete, making it an area of ??study. If you participated in an event to reconstruct it, rewards come.
Community efforts have unlocked every possible reward, but there is still time if your own progress is not complete. You have until tomorrow, January 18, 23: 59/11: 59 for that. Prizes can be claimed from Wednesday 19 January to Monday 31 January. All rewards are distributed based on your personal progress, so act quickly if you need a last-minute push towards a new or two goals. .
Now that this area has been transformed into the Oasis of Heta, there has been a whole new area of ??skills and mini-quests that you can take part in that will also help you progress. The skill drills are a constant addition to the game, so take the time to research them if you like.
Some quality-of-life updates include new tooltips and Research Text for detailed information on various battle items. Abilities and spells that are locked or otherwise hidden are now correctly displayed in the corresponding skill books with the lock icon. There are also changes for pets. Ravens have been converted to service pets and the original penguins have also been converted to service pets. If you have lost or runaway pets, you may be lucky talking to the pet store owner to unlock or retrieve some of them. The changelog is extensive, but a good way to start 2022.
