Runescape's Mod Osborne joins Outriders Team in Square Enix
Runescape and Outriders aren't necessarily two games that players will come up with at once, so seeing a Runescape player address r / Outriders might be a surprise. Nevertheless, it did lead to healthy fasting and interaction between fans of one and / or both games. And it all boils down to one former Jagex associate: David Osborne, known in the Runescape community as Mod Osborne.
Osborne recently revealed on LinkedIn that he was leaving Jagex after 15 years of content editing, storytelling and lead design. It's a choice he describes to "test his experience with the rest of the industry." Osborne leaves Jagex and goes straight to Square Enix on the publishing side as a senior designer. He'll be overseeing "some great games," starting with Outriders.
This discovery prompted Redditor FatNWackyRS to contact r / Outriders with a simple message about Osborne's Fashion, describing him as the "warm, friendly" daddy face in Jagex. FatNWackyRS covers everything Osborne has done over the years. including some clips such as appearing as Mod Elfborne to promote Prifddinas (the city of the elves in Runescape), participating in live broadcasts and helping out as the company vision is.
While some players or communities would be upset if they lost their recognizable corporate face, FatNWackyRS invited other Runescape players to share their experiences. One commentator in particular says he feels that they both won and lost as someone who plays both Runescape and Outriders. Others were excited about this news, even those who had never contacted Osborne before, thanks to this enthusiastic support from a member of the Runescape community.
Indeed, what exactly will happen on his side of the Outriders' fence remains to be seen, but fans know there will be a lot of good stuff coming to the game. The Outriders Worldslayer expansion is due out this spring and will be released later this year, and People Can Fly is working on many other projects after that, including a new game from Square Enix. It is not known, however, whether Osborne will be involved.
FatNWackyRS ends his message with a simple, heartening message to Osborne should he see it: thanks for everything he has done for Runescape and best wishes for your time at Square Enix. "We love you, we will miss you, and wish you all the best in all of your exciting Square Enix endeavors in the future," wrote the Redditor on behalf of the RS community.
This article ends here. I'd like to say if you do not know how to select a legitimate website when you are trying to buy OSRS gold & RS3 gold, RSGoldFast.com is your best choice.
