NBA 2K22 Rebirth: How to Earn Reward in MyCareer
In MyCareer Season 2, players can earn the new NBA 2K22 Rebirth. Since it's brand new, it can be a bit hard figuring out how to unlock and get it. What is the NBA 2K22 Rebirth Reward?
The NBA 2K22 Rebirth Award has just been introduced in Season 2 of 2K for MyCareer. He appeared in previous editions of the game for MyCareer / MyPlayer. The last patch update 1.05 for the current generation added this reward and quest to get it.
Rebirth gives your MyPlayer an edge. Raises MyPlayer to a higher overall rating and / or jumps over MyPOINTS levels, depending on the console. For 2K22 on current generation consoles, MyPlayer can skip the 10 pre-completed MyPOINTS levels. For the next generation of consoles, MyPlayer can jump to 90 overall.
This is a really good start for the newly created MyPlayer builds. This gives new builds more starter attributes and badge enhancements available.
How to get the reward for New-generation consoles
The new generation of consoles is Sony PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. As mentioned, you can skip MyPlayer rating levels and get 90 OVR thanks to the Rebirth Award.
You need to unlock Quest for Rebirth. Do it at an ATM at the NBA Store and 2K Club. Once this is done, you can proceed with the task. When available, complete 10 3v3 or 10 2v2 City games to unlock the Rebirth Reward. You also get MVP points as a reward.
How to get the reward for current-gen consoles
The current generation consoles are Sony PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It takes a different set of circumstances to unlock the respawn reward. First, your MyPlayer must already be 90 OVR. Then you need to complete 10 3v3 games to get Rebirth.
Go to your quest log and you will see that the respawn quest is available. It involves speaking to Summer on M.O.A.T., deck 16, to unlock it. It is located near a zipline with an exclamation mark above the head. The task consists of two stages. First, get 90 points (if you haven't already) and then complete 10 3v3 games.
How does NBA 2K22 Rebirth Reward work?
Once players have unlocked the NBA 2K22 Rebirth Reward, you can select a save file. This can be a normal save or a "Rebirth Save File" when creating a new MyPlayer. Respawn records can be created multiple times.
With Rebirth, players can earn all kinds of new rewards. An example is Badge Points, with 20-30 Badge Points to spend and available for upgrades.
