EA has released the latest Madden 22 roster update where player ratings are adjusted in-game based on their actual performance. The highlight of the Week 6 update was a slight increase for the Tennessee Titans who were fleeing Derrick Henry, which was raised from an overall rating of 97 to 98. This is a slight increase, but well deserved. And frankly it's a crime that Henry is still not part of Club 99 Madden 22.

Derrick Henry is by far the best runner in the NFL - not only this season, but for the past few years as well. After covering over 2,000 yards last year, Henry has a great start in 2021.

After six games, Henry is already taking the lead with 783 yards and 10 touchdowns. The 27-year-old is on track to break the 2,219-yard record, which would have broken Eric Dickerson's one-season record of 2,105 yards. Granted, Henry has an advantage in an extra match in the regular season, but he also came close to the record of 2,027 yards last season. What makes Henry's climb to the 99 Club so frustrating is how long it took him. EA had no problem getting Tom Brady and Justin Tucker to 99 after their record games, although their time at the 99 Club was simply due to the limited time they had to honor their achievements. It looks like if EA wants to add Henry to the 99 Club it will be permanent.

Derrick Henry has run over 100 yards in five consecutive matches. With a soft game against the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend, it's likely going to be six, and I can see him better with the 99 Club, Week 7 Squad Update.
