Dune Awakening: Wreck of the Pallas Walkthrough
In the vast deserts of Dune Awakening, few locations are as lucrative and dangerous as the Wreck of the Pallas. Nestled within the Western Vermillius Gap, this half-buried freighter ship serves as a prime loot destination for players looking to farm green crafting materials, Iron-tier Uniques, and valuable schematics. If you buy Dune Awakening Items and are ready to brave light Radiation and PvP threats, this is one of the best early-to-midgame zones to explore.
This walkthrough will take you through every major loot spot, including how to bypass environmental hazards, avoid wasting time in dead ends, and where to find the highly coveted Unique Celestial chest deep inside the wreck.
Radiation Warning - But You Can Survive It
As soon as you enter the ship's rusting hull, you'll encounter a bluish-green shimmer in the air, indicating low-level Radiation zones. While these fields are dangerous if you go AFK or stand still for too long, the Radiation in the Wreck of the Pallas is non-lethal for short-term explorers.
Step-by-Step Walkthrough: All Loot Locations Inside the Wreck
1. Enter from the Northwestern Hull Breach
·Look for the breach on the northwest side of the wreck.
·It's lightly guarded by a Heavy LMG Bandit, who is usually unshielded.
·Park your Sandbike in the nearby shade, so it's safe from sandstorm damage while you're inside.
2. First Radiation Hallway (West)
·Upon entering, ignore the blocked vat hallway and turn right toward a bluish veil.
·Use your Cutteray on a sealed door mid-hall to access a nook.
Loot: 2x Blue Material Container.
3. Central Storage Room
·Proceed toward the center chamber filled with crates and bandits.
·Clear the enemies, then search between the crates.
Loot: 1x Green Material Contain.er
4. Eastern Passage - Cutteray Doors and Big Chest
·Head east, but don't exit the wreck just yet.
·You'll find a collapsed walkway-cross it to locate another Cutteray door.
Loot: 2x Green Material Containers + 1x Standard Weapon/Armor Chest
·Turn around to spot another Cutteray door with ominous red lighting.
·Inside, you'll find the Green ID Band.
Loot: 1x Green Material Container + 1x Green ID Band (Key)
5. North-Eastern Locked Sector
·Walk along the northeast hallway, using the Green ID Band to access the door.
·Before entering, grab the green container nearby.
6. Southwest Door Detour (Needs Green ID Band)
·Inside this locked zone, take a right, then a left to head back southwest.
This area has:
·1x Green Material Container (open room)
·1x Equipment Chest (behind a Cutteray-sealed door)
7. Green Door Combat Room (Central East)
·Return to the hallway and enter the green door to the southeast.
·Clear out 4x Kirab Bandits to unlock the chamber.
Loot: 1x Equipment Chest
Final Chamber - The Celestial Unique Chest
From the previous combat room, go north to reach the final chamber.
Inside is the highlight of the wreck:
Unique Celestial Chest - Drops the Following Dune Awakening Items:
1. Fila's Regret - Iron-tier version of Aren's Vengeance (melee weapon)
2. Legion Tattoo - Unique variant of Shield Disruptor Mk1 (anti-shield)
3. Mohandis Sandbike Engine Mk2 - Fastest Sandbike engine before Mk3
4. Way of the Wanderer - Auto-reloading pistol with decent burst
PvP Warning: This room is in a PvP-enabled zone, and your PvP tag will remain active for 30 seconds even after exiting the wreck. Do not camp the chest; instead, farm and leave quickly.
Exit and PvP Safety
After looting the Celestial chest, head east to find a sealed door. Inside, you'll find:
·Purple ID Band - Use this to unlock the exit from the Wreck of the Pallas.
Tip: Set up a stilltent or temporary camp just outside the PvP zone to safely offload your loot or wait out PvP cooldowns. You can return every 45 minutes for another run.
Summary: What Makes the Wreck of the Pallas Worth It?
·Easy Radiation (no gear needed)
·5+ Green Material Containers
·2 Standard Weapon/Armor Chests
·Unique Celestial Chest with 4 Unique Schematic Drop Possibilities
·Green & Purple ID Bands for gated access and exit
If you're farming for Uniques or upgrading your Sandbike, the Wreck of the Pallas is one of the most efficient PvPvE shipwrecks to clear in Dune Awakening. Just bring a Cutteray, empty inventory space, and maybe a friend to cover your escape.
