Christian Pulisic chooses which FIFA 22 ratings he wants higher
Christian Pulisic takes a look at his next-gen map in FIFA 22 with Chelsea and USMNT star believing some of his numbers should be slightly higher.
The 23-year-old is considered a star of the present and the future, with an overall rating of 83, but there are areas of his game he admits could be improved.
He is happy with his ranking, which is still going in the right direction, but feels that EA Sports has distinguished him in categories where he wants to prove his point.
Which FIFA 22 rating does Christian Pulisic want to improve?
Free from painful injuries, the American striker for two and a half seasons at Stamford Bridge has shown that he is a force to be reckoned with in the Premier League and the Champions League.
He has the top English hat-trick to his credit, with a goal found 19 times in 83 appearances across all competitions.
While he clearly knows how to get to the end of the net, Pulisic only received 72 shooting scores from FIFA.
He's a bit disappointed by this, telling the official Premier League YouTube channel: “I think there is definitely room for improvement there. I scored some nice goals. "
Pulisic added to his jumping score of 79 as someone who can throw a basketball: "I think he should be a bit taller. Growing up in the States, I played every sport and I think it helps with my all-round sporting abilities. "
Another area Pulisic believes has been unfairly overlooked is the defensive division, where he scores just 38 points.
He said about this result because he is part of Chelsea's front defense team under Thomas Tuchel: "I think I am doing quite well defensively. Normal as an attacking player, but may be taller. Our team defends very well, which seems a little low to me. "
Pulisic continued on his low physical level 60: "This is low. I'm not the biggest kid, maybe I should go to the gym a little more. I think I have a low center of gravity and it's hard for me to hit the ball, but maybe I should enlarge my arms a little.
What FIFA 22 ratings is Christian Pulisic happy with?
The man, who came to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2019, believes that some features of his game have been recognized in FIFA's latest offering, and speed is an obvious strength.
About his 90 rating in the pace department, he said, "It doesn't make me angry."
Asked if he could beat his teammate 91-ranked Timo Werner in the race, Pulisic added: “I never doubt myself. I think it would be close, but to be honest Timo is fast. "
Another high score comes in the dribbling section, where the US international gets 87.
About his creative abilities, he said: “I think this is one of my greatest strengths. We could try to get to 90, but that's what I'm getting to. "
With a score of 75, Pulisic said, “We'll take it. Maybe I should show them more effective passes. Maybe I'm too simple, I shouldn't look and stuff like that. "
Overall, Pulisic is happy with his FIFA 22 card, but would like to reiterate that there is one area he would like to radically improve in the years to come.
He said, "I think I would change the shooting and jump that way. They went a little high in dribbling and pace and then low in shooting! "
Chelsea, who have only had one win in their last four Premier League and Champions League games, will return to the game on Saturday when they host Leeds.
