OSRS is replacing Duel Arena with a new PvP arena
With the changes and the eventual closure of Duel Arena, the Old School RuneScape team has promised a replacement. Now a full replacement has been revealed: PvP Arena. The new option has several differences that aim to create a better and more balanced player experience and reduce the overly common cheats.
The Duel Arena has been closed (and torn down!) To start the new year after a few changes in November. The number of RMT scammers and spammers began to change their long-standing function. However, these changes were always meant to be the bridge to a full replacement. This exchange is supposed to be safer, but it still aims to provide players with duels (and rewards) that are associated with good competition.
The PvP arena works like this: mark that you are looking for a fight and the system will take care of it. Keep playing and receive notifications when a match becomes available, and upon confirmation, you'll be taken to an alternate PvP save the world to battle against a player of a similar skill level. Since all these PvP battles take place on an alternate server, all your levels and items will be left behind when you join, and you will be given a default set of stats and you can choose a battle style, those specific stats. You then choose a secondary fighting style that differs from the first.
After the battles are over, you will receive ranking points and reward points if you win a PvP match (battle or 1v1 tournament) that controls the game for you. While you can create duels and tournaments manually, these points are not rewarded.
After efforts to reduce RMT and improve the experience, all non-cosmetic rewards will only be available in PvP areas. You cannot attack anything except other players with it. Some of these prizes are non-transferable but would be expected to be negotiable. This is to further reduce the attractiveness of RMT spammers and scammers looking for items.
The complete list of rules, rewards, grouping information and more can be seen in the new and revised PvP mode that replaces the old Duel Arena in Old School RuneScape. OSRS also celebrates its 9th birthday.
This article ends here. I'd like to say if you do not know how to select a legitimate website when you are trying to buy OSRS gold & RS3 gold, RSGoldFast.com is your best choice.
