Mining iron

Black metal

Fulings can only be found in the Plains biome, but after defeating Yugluth, they will start to appear in the Meadows and Black Forest. To turn black metal crumbs into black metal bars, you need to build a blast furnace.

Mining Obsidian

Obsidian is another ore found in the mountain biome. However, unlike silver, it appears above the ground and is found in small black rocks. To mine obsidian you need to use an iron pickaxe or better.

Mining Flametal

Finally, the Flame Metal Ore is found in the Ashlands biome and also requires the use of an iron pickaxe to mine and can be mined from piles of glowing metal ore. They look like small volcanic rocks. After mining, you can turn ore into billets of flames with the blast furnace.
