Old School RuneScape's God Wars Dungeon Gets Finale Over
Nex, the fifth and final general, is finally added to Old School RuneScape, ending its 11-year history.
Few games have enjoyed RuneScape's longevity. Despite its most recent release, RuneScape 3, with its beautiful modern MMO graphics, thousands of players have remained true to the 2000 version, Old School RuneScape. Jagex, on the other hand, maintained servers and continues to provide updates and events, even though (at least from the surface) it is much less advanced than the third MMO in the series.
Today, Jagex continues its long-term plans for Old School RuneScape. 11 years after its release, the storyline of God Wars Dungeon is finally over, and the final boss has been added to the expansion this week.
The God Wars dungeons aren't going anywhere, but are headed for their finale with the arrival of the ultimate boss: Nex the General. As the last enemy in a story that has spanned over a decade, defeating her will not be an easy task at all. Teams of players can go up to 80 at a time, so you definitely won't want to go alone.
The Nex turns out to be an extremely popular addition to the game. Any RuneScape update needs to get 75 percent of users' approval before it's released, and the General succeeded in getting an overwhelming 90 percent of gamers to vote for it.
Any player with membership of any level can face the boss, but Jagex recommends the following levels: 70 ranged, 70 strength, 70 agility, 70 health. You also need to complete the Desert Treasure quest to gain access to the Frozen Door. The door is used to access the Nexa domain so you can try to defeat the monster yourself.
Of course, as you'd expect from a good boss fight, you can get some impressive loot. Jagex did not delve too much into what to expect, but revealed that the items to obtain include the Ancient Godsword, Zaryte's crossbow, and Torv's armor set.
If you want to try this extension for yourself, you can play Old School RuneScape for free on both PC and mobile devices. However, this expansion is only available to players with a paid membership.
This article ends here. I'd like to say if you do not know how to select a legitimate website when you are trying to buy OSRS gold & RS3 gold, RSGoldFast.com is your best choice.
