Madden 22: A slant in right direction
If you're reading this, I assume you've played the game to some degree. Buying Madden every year is essentially buying an NFL squad update worth $ 60. The game never changes. That's what I thought until I started playing this year's version. But it got me back.
Franchise
The Madden franchise game mode allows you to control the team of your choice as owner, head coach or player. You can choose if you want to control one of the previous options as one that takes a position in real life or if you can create your character. You can play the NFL team season as if it's been real ever since. Franchise is my favorite game mode due to its detail.
Before each match, the game gives you the option of weekly training, during which you can develop your players. There is also a negotiation period for re-signers whose contracts expire at the end of the season. Plus, there's a full Scouting System to prepare you for the off-season NFL draw.
In Madden 22, the game has made major updates to the franchise mode for the first time in a long time. First, the Scouting System has been completely revamped. Now you can hire scouts for your soccer team and assign them specific regions.
You can focus on the perspectives of concepts and learn more about them throughout the season, rather than exploring them once and moving on. Models that were previously unavailable will be made available in the game.
Another new option is the ability to enter initial visit prospects to learn more about this. Madden also turned the weekly training into a weekly strategy. You can now focus on player health, game plans and more focus on the development of young players.
The last major change concerns technical personnel. Instead of just being the team's head coach, you can now build your staff including defensive and offensive coordinators. It's a nice addition. I hope that the next step will allow us to lead the coordinator and work our way to the position of the head coach in next year's game.
The face of the franchise
Madden fans have been begging for Career Mode for years. Where you can make your player, go to college, the NFL draft. This year's Face of the Franchise is the closest. When you start Face of the Franchise, you have a choice of playmat, defender, defender, or defender. After selecting your position, you can choose your player's "class".
What style of play will your player have? You choose this and the build (body) of your player. This game mode was very buggy. The plot was difficult and clumsy.
Your player goes through college football play-offs, a pre-draft visit, and a charity match with NFL stars. How high it gets called depends on how it plays in those games. The design is also flawed.
As quarterback you can be picked by three teams, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the New York Jets and the San Francisco 49ers. No matter how bad you play, your player won't fall below the third pick for the 49ers. Does not make sense.
The problem is that these teams already have starting playmakers, and the game doesn't transfer them to another team or explain what's going on with them. I had a similar problem when I was playing as a winger. My player has been selected three times for the Bengali team from Cincinnati, although the Bengalis already have three good wingers.
However, this is a step in the right direction. If they can fix continuity errors and add more to this game mode, such as picking more positions (tight end, backline, secondary), this can become one of the best features of the game.
Ultimate Team
I've never liked Ultimate Team. Basically, you can build your dream team from past and current NFL players. I don't play this game mode anymore because no matter how hard you try to build your team without spending money, it's impossible to build a team good enough to stay competitive.
I opened it for the first time in years because of this review and not much has changed. It could be me though, because it's one of Madden's most popular game modes.
This article ends here. I'd like to say if you do not know how to select a legitimate website when you are trying to buy Madden 22 coins, MMoexp.com is your best choice.
