Madden 21's new game mode called The Yard is leaked and looks nice
EA Sports has slowly released details of "Madden NFL 21", but one person has gained the upper hand and has released information that has yet to be released.
Twitter user Cameron Mertz posted several screenshots of Madden 21 on Monday before they were removed. Commenting on Madden YouTuber RBT, Mertz says he "slipped" in beta mode, and that's how he got so many screenshots. EA Sports recently had the Madden 21 closed beta, but the focus was more on the gameplay.
RBT spoke to Mertz about how he discovered the leak and explained the process somewhat in his new video. In short, the beta version continued to receive updates even though it was not available. Mertz was able to find a way to enter the beta for a short period of time to see the main menu.
The menu is similar to the design pattern we've seen so far in the official EA Sports releases for Madden 21. It also features some items we already know, including Ultimate Team, Face of the Franchise, and Superstar KO. But there is a new item called The Yard that intrigued people.
The explanation for The Yard game is as follows: A new take on Madden from the Backyard Rules! Play 6v6 with your friends to earn exclusive rewards for your Superstar.
This is similar to NBA 2K The Neighborhood of FIFA 20's Pro Clubs. The explanation for the existence of virtual clubs is as follows: "Virtual Clubs is an online mode in FIFA 20 that allows you to create a virtual player and play your position on the pitch with your teammates in a real online national team."
With EA Sports making FIFA and Madden, it shouldn't be hard to think they would create a similar game mode for their NFL video game. The only problem is that it also seems strange that EA Sports has yet to officially announce this game mode. It is possible this is a later feature, such as the Superstar KO in Madden 20. Sporting News contacted EA Sports for comment but received no reply.
Some may see this new potential game mode and get upset that EA Sports isn't fixing franchise mode, but many others are excited. It looks like a fun new Creative Mode that adds something else to Madden's library. Like Superstar KO in Madden 20, it's fun to get something new in a video game franchise that has remained the same for so many years.
The smaller observation from the leaked screenshot is that there is no demo mode. It's unclear if this mode is available elsewhere, or if the mode just hasn't been updated in the menu. It would be shocking if EA Sports just removed it, and frankly, it doesn't even seem like an opportunity.
The above is news about The Yard. Prompt:There are cheap Madden 21 coins on our website.
