Fire Ele Druid - Thoughts
Hello everyone, I'm aware there are a lot of videos on the internet that highlight various possibilities. I'll be playing the hardcore firedruid for my first role this season.
What are your thoughts on the capabilities? My opinion is that 20 inches of Oak Sage is non-negotiable on hardcore. I'm leaning towards maxing all of it other than Firestorm and it will be equipped to handle fire-resistant systems.
Which Merc? I'm leaning towards Lightning A3 as the static merc that is now available (range and use rate are amazing) Furthermore it doesn't make mobs stay on the ground like A2 and A5 would (fissure causes)
Also considering fire druid but I'll skip over the oak sage. I believe that going with pure damage could be the best choice for softcore since I'll likely use CTA for the long haul.
I'm definitely thinking about an holy freeze merc since having monsters slowly navigate through brimstone and fire will make the game somewhat easier. Plus, I could give him Infinity in the future should I decide to take it to an extreme.
Sorry I'm just joking I'm sure they're not relevant to the hardcore.
