Cyberpunk 2077: Is There Legendary Optics for Ophthalmic Systems?
Players will find themselves visiting Ripperdocs frequently in Cyberpunk 2077. When trying to buy a legendary cyberdeck or Cyberware upgrade, these are the people that V turns to.
There are many different Ripperdocs scattered all over Night City Cyberpunk 2077, each with different resources. One of them appears in the main story: Ripperdoc with a golden heart, Viktor Vector. With a distinct cyberpunk name and a pair of nimble fingers, Viktor V gives you new eyes to scan enemies and upgrade them later. Gamers have seen his eye enhancements reach iconic levels, but some may wonder if there are legendary cyberspace eye enhancements as well.
Kiroshi Optics line
First, it should be noted that the Ocular Cyberware Lock has only one set of tweaks - Kiroshi Optics. These are cybernetic eyes that allow V to scan enemies, collect data about them, and sometimes hack them. Viktor, one of the best characters in Cyberpunk 2077, gives it back to V for free, provided he can pay it back later. This later payment takes the form of a side quest, and if you complete it, V can buy improved optics. However, these are not legendary rarities.
There are no legendary optics
There are no Legendary Cyberware Ocular improvements in Cyberpunk 2077 at the time of this writing. Viktor doesn't sell them and none have been discovered in any other part of the game. Cyberpunk 2077 has only been available for about a week, so they may exist in a place that players have yet to discover. However, since no Glasses improvements have been found beyond Viktor's line, this seems unlikely. All the optics are to make the V more visible whether the player is going through Cyberpunk 2077 with or without ray tracing enhancements. Without the optics, the V would not be able to scan, and that would be a problem.
How best to use your optics
This does not mean that investing in the improved optics that Viktor is offering after his research is a bad idea. Paying for them shouldn't be a big deal, especially if players are using Cyberpunk 2077's endless money tricks.
The reason for purchasing the improved optics is solely to gain access to more slots for modification. Extra slots are the only difference between upgrades, and the iconic tier allows players to install three mods. Mods for Cyberware can be extremely useful, for example the Arasaka Software mod for the Sandevistan Operating System line. With the right mods, the iconic Kiroshi optics can look very attractive.
