Blizzard should consider a dibs based party loot system

It's always a debate, however, let me tell you... I know that drops are not common and less is better. I understand that some people are wary of major changes, however d2r has demonstrated that an ability to make changes that are thoughtful and beneficial.

I'd love to see a rule of dibs to be in place for parties. There are games that allow players to randomly earn dibs for a specific tier of drops. When an item meeting specific criteria is dropped an D2 Resurrected Ladder Item, any player who is in close proximity to the drop gets access to the item, and they may choose to take the item or the item and they can take it or. After a brief period of time, if the item has not been taken back, the item becomes available for grabs.

I'd like to have sets, uniques and some runes listed as a "discount" for 5-10 seconds for players to randomly pick up for every drop. If they do not want the d2r item, it's a fair game. This makes drops slightly more fair and would not be controlled by Fast fingers, melee characters or moochers that are more interested in droppings instead of fighting.

I'm finding myself being less players, so I am able to observe good drops myself (I'm over-indulgent, what do I say?) particularly on the table tops with the first drop. This dibs model is very well in party play and other games. Every player gets to view the it's not a complete drop, but it's temporarily reserved to one person. Everyone feels like they have at least an opportunity to get equipment.

There isn't any instanced loot, so we're not overflowing the market with things and it's not too strict. It's a bonus if it can be set at the time of the time of game creation.

Random player? What if I'm that is killing the entire group? No, if I kill that minion , and the loot falls at my feet, my swift fingers aren't going to be getting any. 5-10 seconds is way too long in any case. If an item is dropped and the dibster moves on it, the dibster is in trouble.

And I must wait for 5-10 seconds until I can get it. I've just missed the next three mobs of the run. I understand your legitimate grievance however I don't believe that dibs is the right answer.

Random person in the party in close proximity. Do not include guests who aren't in your party , and don't include anyone who isn't in the area. This is a method to boost the actual play and not to create splintered Mf run (I. E. Players joining the game to earn the player bonus as well as running zones for themselves.)

If they're actually present but not yet to being there, I thought they'd be accessible in a matter of seconds, and it is accessible to everyone. Perhaps 10 seconds is way too long , and my goal is for the sport to continue moving.
