Best wishes for redemption from RuneScape's Guardian's Gift
In April, Jagex confirmed that it is in the process of a salary update after logging in has been blocked. The creator of the popular MMORPG wanted to offer players something that would make up for the problems the block was causing to the player base. The so-called "wishes" are now available and Jagex has not disappointed. When used correctly, these new RuneScape wishes can completely change the rules of the game.
Wishes take the form of an in-game item called the Guardian's Gift. The Guardian Gift is only given to players who had an account while the login was blocked. Accounts created after April 5 are not eligible.
A number of fees are attached to a donation that determine how many wishes can be fulfilled. People directly affected by blockages have three to four times more wishes than healthy gamers. Fees are measured as a percentage. Regular players get 100%, blocked players get 300% and extended blocked players get 400%.
The cost of wishes ranges from just 1% for the daily reset to 20% for the inventor's wish. Which wishes are best for your RuneScape account will vary from case to case. However, there are a few that stand out and seem to offer better value on average.
The inventor's wish
Inventor's Wish is probably the best option for most players. When fulfilled, this wish grants a selected Ancient Gizmo scale. However, unlike regular gadget projectiles, this one does not consume any components when throwing perks. In fact, as long as a component is discovered, you don't even need to have one to use them.
It is extremely useful to get the best PvM benefits on slots for free. Typically 57% of a cast for Biting 4, Dragon Slayer would cost 53,000,000 GP of components. Assuming an average of two rolls is required, this means savings of over 100 million GP. At 20% of the fee for each gadget, Inventor's Wish is expensive. However, if you don't yet have access to the best bonuses, this should be a priority.
Warrior's Wish
Warrior's Wish continues the PvM theme and offers various quality of life bonuses for combat activities. At only 10% cost per use, this could be the most achievable of those RuneScape needs. Upon completion, Warrior's Wish gives Aura Refresh, one Life Refresh, one Item Protection Contract, and one Reaper Refresh.
It's important to refresh your Soul Reaper. When Soul Reaper Refresh is used, players can start the next Reaper quest without being limited to the usual daily limit. Depending on your luck, the Reaper's mission will earn you about 25 Reaper points on average. At the current price of the Grand Exchange Incomplete Hydrix, 25 Reaper points are worth 5.3 million GP. In theory, this means that burning the full 400% of the charge could earn a player over 200 million GP. This also does not count towards the bosses earned during the Reaper's quests.
Wanderer's wish
While Wanderer's Wish is probably more attractive to iron people than regular OSRS accounts, it's not a bad option. When using it, you can reset your daily, weekly or monthly diversions and diversions. This is the only request that has different costs depending on the option selected. Daily costs 1% of the costs, weekly magazines cost 5% and monthly magazines cost 20%.
Do not reset monthly magazines. Even if you burned 400% of your cargo with 20 Giant Oyster Rolls, the chance of receiving a broadcast or a rare item is minimal. Instead, it is better to reset the diaries or weeklies. More specifically, I recommend resetting your Sinkholes, Guthixian Cache, Herba Werba or Penguin Hide and Seek, whichever is best for your account.
Polymath's wish
Of the eight wishes available in RuneScape, none is as simple as Polymath's Wish. After buying 10% back on a single charge, the player gets one hour of double experience. Only members receive the full 100% XP bonus and free players are limited to just 20%.
In the long run, this can save you more money than an Inventor's Wish or a Warrior's Wish. For example, if you use it to reach 120 Herblore, it could theoretically save over a billion OSRS GP. It's also a good choice for developing slower skills and any skills you don't like to train. Most end accounts will not benefit much from this, but it is a good choice for those who have not yet received the maximum cape.
